About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Bridges and Civils team within our Transportation Practice at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a vital role in shaping our exciting projects and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver civil and structural design packages and projects for new highway schemes, maintenance, and assessment works.
  • Manage individual design packages and entire projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and profitability.
  • Support project resourcing and financial control to meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.

Requirements:

  • BEng/MEng or MSc degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartered status and membership of the ICE or IStructE.
  • Experience in civil engineering design, project management, and delivery of highway and local authority projects.
  • Strong technical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead and support bids and tenders, with experience of work winning and developing client relationships.
