Job Title: Children Law Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children Law Solicitor to join our team at Gemini Recruitment. As a leading recruitment agency specialising in legal recruitment, we provide a highly focused service to Solicitors, Legal Executives, Trainee Solicitors, Paralegals, and Legal Support Staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members on all aspects of Children Law work.
  • Manage and supervise Trainee Solicitors and Caseworkers to manage appropriate caseload types and complexities.
  • Assist with delivery of appropriate training and development in the department.
  • Deal with a range of Children work including divorce, financial disputes, and remedies, international elements of child abduction/adoption, injunctions/non-molestation orders.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Committed and highly driven.
  • Must have a clean, valid Practising Certificate at the time of applying.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Committed team player with ability to approach team concerns fairly, foster culture of positive change, and encourage cross referrals.
  • Previous proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators.
  • Professional with a pro-active approach, excellent client care skills, and ability to deal with vulnerable client matters in a sensitive manner and resolve complicated practicalities involved in Children Law issues.
  • Registered with the Law Society and Children Panel or otherwise willing to work towards becoming a Panel member.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills with the ability to successfully market the Company and generate new business.
