About the Role

We are seeking a creative and forward-thinking Occupational Therapist to join our Maximising Independence Team-South, covering Broxtowe, Gedling, and Rushcliffe. This is a non-traditional, broad-spectrum role that offers endless opportunities to work with people creatively and put them at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and advise individuals in a timely manner, drawing upon a repertoire of in-service assets to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Work with people of all ages and across all service areas, using a strengths-based approach and conversational style to help them ascertain what a good life looks like to them.
  • Collaborate with a multi-skilled, fast-paced, and supportive team to deliver high-quality services.
  • Receive regular supervision and support to attend training and progress your career, meeting the HCPC's CPD requirements.
  • Expand your knowledge and competencies through project work and service exploration based on your strengths and career aspirations.
Requirements
  • Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Have at least 2 years' experience as a qualified OT for Band B requirements.
  • Be able to motivate others and support them through change.
  • Have excellent communication and IT skills.
