About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Associate to join our Food and Agribusiness team at Mills & Reeve. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing and running acquisitions and disposals of agricultural land, estates, and strategic land.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and run acquisitions and disposals of agricultural land, estates, and strategic land
  • Develop long-lasting and fulfilling relationships with clients and other professionals
  • Work with our partners and team members to focus on the Food and Agribusiness sector
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our Real Estate practice
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service
Requirements
  • 4PQE+ Senior and Principal Associates with excellent technical ability
  • Experience of agricultural property work and a basic knowledge of relevant tax issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written English and ability to produce clear, logical drafting
  • Negotiating skills and numeracy
  • IT literacy and good research skills
  • Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm towards building and strengthening relationships with clients and their advisors
  • Flexibility to work with several team members
  • Effective time and matter management and a systematic approach to work
  • Attention to detail and a proactive team player
