About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Associate to join our Food and Agribusiness team at Mills & Reeve. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing and running acquisitions and disposals of agricultural land/estates/strategic land.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and run acquisitions and disposals of agricultural land/estates/strategic land
  • Develop long-lasting and fulfilling relationships with clients and other professionals
  • Work with our partners and team members to focus on the Food & Agribusiness sector
  • Contribute to the development of the practice and market the firm's services
Requirements
  • 4PQE+ Senior and Principal Associates
  • Good academics
  • Excellent technical ability, ideally with experience of agricultural property work
  • Interest in issues such as food security, energy, and natural resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written English and ability to produce clear, logical drafting
  • Negotiating skills
  • Numeracy
  • IT literacy
  • Good research skills, including an ability to use online information sources
  • Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm towards building and strengthening relationships with clients and their advisors
  • Flexibility to work with several team members
