Project Manager - ZEHID Delivery

Kuehne + Nagel, a global leader in logistics, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Zero Emissions HGV Infrastructure Demonstrator (ZEHID) trial.

Your Role

As the ZEHID Delivery Project Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, project coordination, and successful execution of this government initiative.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for eHGV and charging site deployment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery from setup to maintenance, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and utility providers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support procurement, installation, and maintenance of eHGVs and infrastructure, aligning with Kuehne + Nagel's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize trial performance, identifying and addressing any risks to the project.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Proven experience in transport and project management, with a strong background in logistics and sustainability.
  • Extensive knowledge and passion for reducing Co2 levels in the transport industry, with a focus on carbon literacy.
  • Experience in managing projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget, with proficiency in project management methodologies including Agile, Prince2, and/or APM.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills, with excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to commute, travel for meetings with customers and suppliers, and visit other Kuehne + Nagel sites as needed.
