About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Project Manager to lead the Zero Emissions HGV Infrastructure Demonstrator (ZEHID) trial at Kuehne + Nagel. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advancing sustainable transportation solutions and making a significant impact on the future of logistics.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the deployment of electric Heavy Goods Vehicles (eHGVs) and associated charging infrastructure across the Kuehne + Nagel estate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery, from setup to maintenance, to ensure timely and cost-effective results.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and utility providers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support procurement, installation, and maintenance of eHGVs and infrastructure to meet project objectives.
  • Align the project with Kuehne + Nagel's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals to drive sustainability and reduce carbon emissions.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize trial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and address any risks to the project to ensure successful outcomes.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in transport and project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Extensive knowledge and passion for reducing carbon emissions in the transport industry, with a strong understanding of carbon literacy principles.
  • Experience in managing projects using Agile, Prince2, and/or APM methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external suppliers.
  • Ability to travel for meetings with customers and suppliers, and visit other Kuehne + Nagel sites as needed.
