Are you a seasoned IT Operations Manager with expertise in the Manufacturing sector? Do you possess a solid background in managing ERP and CRM system enhancements and integration initiatives?
We are seeking a qualified professional to join a reputable manufacturing firm that is preparing to transition to a tailored ERP solution developed by a leading British software provider.
The implementation of the EFACS ERP system is set to commence shortly, and you will collaborate closely with the vendor and the Project Management team to facilitate a seamless transition.
You will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing IT operations within the current technology environment, managing hardware, software, and network systems, and serving as the primary liaison for various external vendors and support partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and service provider to enhance business processes through IT improvements and support the integration of the newly upgraded ERP system.
- Manage changes within the IT environment to mitigate risks to business operations.
- Diagnose and resolve IT-related issues concerning hardware, software, and network systems.
- Act as a principal stakeholder in the ERP implementation project, including the specification and deployment of data capture technology for the production floor.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience in leading IT service transition efforts in both physical and cloud environments.
- Extensive knowledge of Office365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Strong comprehension of network and server infrastructure.
- Significant experience within the Manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in IT management roles.
- In-depth knowledge of network support, disaster recovery, and systems engineering.
