Job Opportunity: Assistant Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join our team at Scope Personnel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-functioning sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate the Sales team to achieve sales targets on vehicles and finance, insurance products, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide support and training to sales executives regarding prospecting, sales presentation, and customer handling to ensure each member of your team is confident in their role and can meet Company and Brand expectations.
  • Comply with FCA guidelines on the selling of financial services/products and ensure your department operates with a strong focus on Treating Customers Fairly.
  • Ensure that all new and used stock is managed in a professional and diligent manner.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans and actions to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Maintain good relationships with other Company employees and manufacturer staff.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales management with a track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams in the motor industry.
  • High standards, with the ability to drive new innovative ideas to the sales team to increase performance and service.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate credibly and confidently with customers, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to keep up to date with complex information, proven negotiating skills, and good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional and well-presented with a passion for customer service.
