Position Overview

As a key player in the operations at Kuehne+Nagel, the Warehouse Operative is integral to our logistics framework.

Role Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage the loading and unloading of transport vehicles, utilizing both manual methods and the onsite forklift.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure precise stock levels are maintained.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, strictly following health and safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet operational objectives.
  • Share oversight of the departmental communication channels, addressing new packaging requests and internal inquiries.
  • Respond to inquiries from both internal and external departments through telephone and email, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process all import and export shipments as they pass through the facility.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with temperature-sensitive and time-critical shipments.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Capability to follow instructions meticulously and operate efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a 4 on 4 off schedule with 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM.
