Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at CareTech Community Services Ltd.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong leader to work closely with the manager in delivering a professional and flexible service to our service users.

The successful candidate will have the responsibility of supervising and leading a team of support workers to enable our service users to lead fulfilling and satisfying lives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support services.
  • Act as a role model for staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Offer regular supervision to all staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
  • Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities, working closely with service users and their families.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and other stakeholders, respecting confidentiality and promoting a culture of transparency.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained, reflecting the high standards of care and support delivered.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to develop and implement strategies that promote excellence in care and support.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience at a similar level, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Full driving license, as the role may require travel to various locations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and support services, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
