We are seeking a highly skilled Group Management Accountant to join our Finance team at NCC Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to senior stakeholders, preparing financial information, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a key point of contact for the delivery of information to external auditors and internal audit teams.
- Assist in preparing information for population in RNS and Annual Report and Accounts.
- Prepare UK subsidiary statutory accounts for 17 entities.
- Assist with the preparation of audit papers for year-end and interim audits.
- Own the accounting for share-based payments under IFRS 2.
- Support technical accounting matters through ad-hoc project work.
- Develop and implement processes for the allocation of management recharges.
- Prepare the Group Consolidation and maintain consolidation journals.
- Develop a Group consolidation checklist to ensure accuracy and improve efficiency.
- Implement the checklist and investigate and clear any matters identified.
- Assist in developing a process for accurate month-end reconciliation of inter-group balances.
- Implement and govern the process.
- Support the Group Assistant Management Accountant and Group Finance Manager with other month-end tasks.
- Qualified accountant with excellent technical accounting skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Comfortable working in a large company environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with local finance representatives and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Eye for detail and ability to get things right first time.
