Trainee Care Assistant - Care and Support

At Etive House Care Home, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Trainee Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our care team, bringing warmth, kindness, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily routines, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Implement individualized care plans with attention and compassion.
  • Monitor residents' well-being, reporting any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager.
  • Treat every resident with respect and kindness, ensuring they feel valued.
  • Foster a welcoming and warm environment, engaging with residents and colleagues.
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies, assist with mobility and nutrition, and maintain a safe and clean environment.

About You:

We believe that great care starts with great people. Whether you're new to the field or have some experience, what matters most is your heart for helping others. If you hold a Health & Social Care qualification, that's fantastic, but it's not essential.

We're looking for someone who is naturally caring, empathetic, patient, and kind. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to connect with our residents and understand their needs.

We'll provide all the training you need to excel in your role, teaching you the technical skills and systems. But the most important qualities - compassion, respect, and a dedication to our values - are what we hope you'll bring to our team.
