Financial Control Manager

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Manager to join our team at NatWest. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining the integrity of our financial control activities, including balance sheet and profit and loss account reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage a team of financial control professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information.
- Implement and maintain effective control frameworks and governance processes to ensure adherence to our overall strategy and operating model.
- Perform product control activities and review month-end production for all product-related activities within the group-wide banking architecture.
- Actively participate in strategic initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Deliver full substantiation and reconciliation of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts within a controlled framework.
- Establish strong analytical procedures over the balance sheet and profit and loss account.
**Requirements**
- Relevant qualification and proficiency in accounting.
- Experience in statutory accounts preparation and reporting.
- Relevant commercial insight and experience of implementing business process and procedural change in a complex business environment.
- Ability to implement the operating model and strategic change.
- Experience in the optimal use of key finance technologies, such as Oracle and its modules and associated reporting tools.
