About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our team at HVAC - FläktGroup UK. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our air handling units and other HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning and Testing: Conduct thorough commissioning and testing of air handling units and other HVAC systems to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a small team of engineers and operatives to ensure all commissioning activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all commissioning activities are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with the project manager, general contractor, and clients' commissioning agents to ensure that all commissioning activities are carried out to their satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the commissioning process.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out commissioning activities effectively.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a qualification in an electrical competence and have a strong understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Experience: Have previous experience in HVAC commissioning and testing, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including air handling units, and be proficient in the use of commissioning software and tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Be a methodical thinker with excellent planning skills, and be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
