FM Conway is seeking a Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 2 Driver to become part of our dedicated team at the West Drayton depot on a full-time, permanent basis.

In the role of Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 2 Driver, you will collaborate with a partner to perform various services, including the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of drainage systems. We welcome applications from individuals without prior drainage experience, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities of the Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 2 Driver

As a Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 2 Driver , you will operate an FM Conway Gully Truck, working on gully contracts in the local vicinity. You will receive training to operate various machinery, including the GIS Trimble unit. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to drainage-related issues, including emergency callouts for blockages or cleaning pipes during routine maintenance schedules.
  • Documenting and reporting on the work performed, as well as any issues encountered and further actions needed.
  • Assisting with high-pressure water jetting tasks.
  • Providing reports through our application system and maintaining clear communication via email.
  • Collaborating closely with management and team members.
  • Supporting the Drainage Operative in clearing and unblocking drainage systems.

Qualifications we seek in our Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver
