We are seeking an experienced Senior Complex Claims Handler to join our team at IPS Group. As a Senior Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling high-value claims across liability within the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex claims from inception to closure, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations and assessments to determine liability and negotiate settlements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters and claims specialists, to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve claims handling processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Claims Handler or in a similar role, with a strong background in liability claims.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong knowledge of insurance laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
