Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Matthew James Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering full projects of our specialist products, including electrical design of control panel and switchgear, system design of power generation systems, and liaison with mechanical and controls systems engineer.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver full projects of our specialist products
- Electrical design of control panel and switchgear
- System design of power generation systems
- Liaise with mechanical and controls systems engineer
- Advising and mentoring more junior staff
- Electrical degree
- Previous electrical design experience using CAD – EPLAN ideal
- Experience with drive technology
- Experience in the power generation and/or battery systems market
- Good knowledge of startup and commissioning activities
