Senior Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Matthew James Group Ltd. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering full projects of our specialist products, including electrical design of control panels and switchgear, system design of power generation systems, and liaison with mechanical and controls systems engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical design solutions for our products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets technical and business requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical design

Requirements:

  • Electrical degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in electrical design using CAD software, preferably EPLAN
  • Knowledge of drive technology and power generation systems
  • Experience in the power generation and/or battery systems market
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
