As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to our client, a well-established privately owned business operating in the Manufacturing & Engineering Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Managing Director and shareholders in the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring a dynamic and ambitious approach to growth.
- Develop and implement robust financial governance and control processes, providing insightful analysis and strategic guidance to drive business growth.
- Lead the development of the budget and forecasting process, ensuring timely and accurate Management Information.
- Implement cost control measures and performance metrics to drive cost management and efficiency.
- Oversee the completion of year-end accounts and preparation of audit packs, ensuring compliance with all company and statutory regulations.
- Manage the payroll function, ensuring adherence to all company and statutory regulations.
Requirements:
- Recognized accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Strong financial acumen with a track record of driving financial performance and adding value
- Experience of using financial systems and technologies to drive change and efficiency
- Proven experience in a finance leadership role, ideally within an owner-managed manufacturing company
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
What We Offer:
A competitive basic salary of £85,000 - £110,000, plus a car allowance and excellent benefits and profit share bonus.
