Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced nanny for a wonderful family in Alderley Edge. This is a full-time live-out position offering a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of two delightful children, aged 3 months and 7 years.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engaging and educational activities for both children, including trips to parks, outings, and imaginative play. The eldest child enjoys adventure and outdoor exploration, while the youngest benefits from baby classes and stimulating routines.
  • Manage school logistics for the 7-year-old, including pick-up after school, homework assistance, and transportation to after-school activities.
  • Handle all nursery duties, such as meal preparation using fresh ingredients, laundry, organizing school supplies, wardrobe management, and party planning.
  • Create a nurturing bedtime routine for both children, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a private nanny or in a similar childcare role.
  • Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3).
  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
  • Current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine love for working with children and creating a positive and supportive environment.
