About the RoleAs a Community Payback Unpaid Work Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing individuals in the performance of unpaid work in the community, in accordance with National Outcomes and Standards, and City of Edinburgh Policies, practices, and Procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing, developing, managing, and organizing projects that benefit both individuals and organizations in the community
- Managing and evaluating the needs, skills, and abilities of individuals undertaking unpaid work
- Undertaking health and safety assessments and site assessments, demonstrating safe systems of work
- Promoting pro-social modeling, challenging inappropriate behavior, attitudes, or language
Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of the Justice System, be confident and willing to work in a dynamic environment.
Candidates will have an SVQ III or equivalent qualification, experience may include a range of practical and creative skills, experience in supervising/instructing people in work tasks, experience using power/hand tools, and will have a license to drive a range of vehicles.
