Care Manager Assistant Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Care Manager Assistant to join our team at Lancashire County Council. As a Care Manager Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our older adults with kindness, dignity, care, and compassion to live their lives their way.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead, coach, and motivate a team to deliver high-quality care
* Hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care and be willing to complete NVQ level 3 within twelve months of your start date
* Experience in leading, coaching, and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care
* Support the delivery of high-quality care to older adults

**Our Team**

Our committed team provides care to over 1,000 adults across Lancashire. We run 16 Care Homes and 13 Day Centres where the team provides support for older people, adults living with dementia, and their families. We have recently been awarded the national Customer Service Excellence Standard and received special recognition for our hard work.

**Training and Support**

We offer all the training and support you need to reach your full potential. We will begin by supporting you through your induction. The Care Certificate will form part of your comprehensive induction programme. We will also pay for your training and offer opportunities to progress.
