Job Title: Engineering Supervisor

As an Engineering Supervisor at Spectis Robotics, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment rentals and repairs. This involves liaising with customers and suppliers, delegating tasks to the technical team, and carrying out maintenance and repairs to client-owned and company-owned equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs to client-owned and company-owned equipment, including mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth operation of equipment rentals and repairs.
  • Delegate tasks to the technical team and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Identify faults and debug issues with mechanical and electronic systems, at component, PCB, and system level.
  • Write documentation for requirements, certification, and testing.
Requirements:
  • HND or Degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly/disassembly, electrical/electronic fault finding, repair, and testing.
  • Ability to identify faults and debug issues with mechanical and electronic systems, at component, PCB, and system level.
  • Ability to solder and rework through-hole and SMD components.
  • Understanding of electronics fundamentals, circuit operation, and basic components.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision and manage others.
  • Experience working in the subsea, NDT industries, or related fields utilizing ROVs, cameras.
  • Knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design.
  • Ability to select replacement electronic components due to obsolescence.
