Internal Sales Engineer Role and Responsibilities

Futures is seeking a skilled Internal Sales Engineer to support their sales team in generating new business opportunities in the Oil and Gas industry.

  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding product specifications and troubleshoot applications as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to establish the best commercial and technical offer to meet clients' needs.
  • Meet quote and order processing KPIs and maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data.
  • Prepare quotations, including cost assimilation, technical compliance, and margin assessment to ensure the submission of the best commercial and technical bid.
  • Ensure all sales-related documentation and communications are filed in accordance with agreed practices and quality system requirements.
  • Identify and resolve issues, escalating any critical matters to management for prompt attention.
Internal Sales Engineer Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of three years' technical sales experience within flow control (pumps, valves, actuators, automation equipment).
  • Understanding of oil and gas industry specifications is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including ERP experience.
  • Educated to City & Guilds level or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
