We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Randstad Construction Property Engineering.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established contractor with a strong order book, focusing on healthcare projects across Sussex and Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a main contractor in the Construction industry, utilizing preconstruction surveying experience.
  • Develop a good understanding of budget management and measurement techniques.
  • Negotiate and network with subcontractors, analyzing tender returns and completing orders and variations.
  • Manage subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts, as well as completing monthly CVRs and cost reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
  • Preconstruction surveying experience and good understanding of budget management.
  • Negotiating and networking skills, with the ability to analyze subcontractor tender returns.
  • Ability to complete subcontract orders and variations, as well as manage payments and final accounts.
