Join Our Team as a Commercial Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a Team of Quantity Surveyors: Manage a team of quantity surveyors in estimating construction project costs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of estimates.
  2. Financial and Contractual Aspects: Oversee financial and contractual aspects, including the preparation of bills of quantities, to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  3. Project Financing and Material Procurement: Assist in managing project financing and material procurement, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  4. Subcontract Letting and Negotiations: Manage subcontract letting, negotiations, and financial accounting, ensuring that all subcontractors are paid promptly and in accordance with agreed terms.
  5. Team Management: Experience in managing a team for surveyors, including trainees and assistants, to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis, providing insights that inform business decisions.
  7. Mentorship and Support: Ability to encourage and support junior members of the commercial team, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills and careers.
