About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Lookers Bishop Stortford Land Rover. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle health checks using the latest technology and diagnostic tools
- Perform vehicle services and repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
- Carry out warranty repairs and complete relevant paperwork to a high standard
- Take customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified
- Work collaboratively with the aftersales manager and other technicians to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Motor industry experience (brand or non-brand) and a full and valid UK driving license
- Self-motivated and able to work to and maintain the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
