Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Technician to join our team at MPI Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out scheduled vehicle service and repair work in accordance with manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose non-routine defects using knowledge of vehicles and technologies.
  • Examine vehicles and report defects against regulatory bodies.
  • Work efficiently and safely to meet customer requirements and maximize workshop productivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain workshop standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Take responsibility for daily maintenance of workshop equipment and report defects or problems.
  • Follow key processes to achieve specified quality and efficiency targets.
  • Develop and improve more efficient processes with the Centre.
  • Provide technical explanations to customers and deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Coach and support apprentice technicians.
  • Attend specialized training as required by manufacturers.
  • Work with colleagues and other teams to provide a seamless service to customers.
  • Report technical problems using appropriate procedures.
  • Handle customer data in line with GDPR.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Must hold level 3 vehicle technician competence.

This is a permanent position working out of Bishops Stortford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles and technologies, and will be expected to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
