Position Overview: Our client, a prominent independent provider of property and infrastructure support services, is looking for a Compliance Assurance Engineer to enhance their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement compliance initiatives and finalize documentation in accordance with established compliance protocols.
  • Collaborate with the design team to assess design information and formulate compliance policies.
  • Conduct DSEAR evaluations to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Prepare schedules, budget estimates, and necessary resources for compliance initiatives.
  • Assist clients in meeting compliance standards by identifying and addressing compliance challenges, while suggesting suitable product or process modifications for optimal practices and ongoing enhancement.
  • Document compliance through appropriate testing, inspections, assessments, and by compiling results into detailed investigative reports.
  • Support the Duty Holder in refining existing policies and procedures.
  • Enhance the engineering and organizational reputation by taking ownership of new requests and seeking opportunities to provide additional value.
  • Research and identify relevant regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes.
  • Develop compliance strategies by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying compliance engineering principles, methodologies, techniques, and criteria.

Professional Development: Stay informed about emerging compliance engineering practices and standards, engage in educational opportunities and professional organizations, and share insights with the broader team.

Qualifications: Proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to utilize statistical methods for problem-solving. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Compliance Engineering, is required. City & Guilds RA & PUWER Practical Workshop certification is preferred.
