Math Instructor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Math Instructor to join our team at Home Tree school in Wisbech. If you are passionate about education and committed to developing your practice, we want to hear from you.

Position: Math Instructor (SEMH school)

Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time, permanent position

Salary Details: £25,000 per annum

We offer a broad and enriching curriculum to our students and require an enthusiastic and committed instructor. You will have a flexible, creative, and practical approach to learning and be responsible for developing individualized/small group programs. Class sizes are no more than 5 students, with dedicated TA support, and you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

A good knowledge of mathematics and experience of teaching up to GCSE level is essential. An understanding of Mental Health and/or experience of working with children/young people with additional needs is an advantage.

The school:

Cambian Home Tree School is an independent DfE-registered, co-educational day school that specializes in accommodating students who have Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

The school typically caters for up to 20 students aged between 12-18 years of age, and each classroom features different learning environments for alternative ways of learning. Individually tailored educational pathways are created to ensure each student's needs are met.
