Job Opportunity for SEN Support Staff

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a SEN Support Staff member. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a Secondary Special Educational Needs School in Chertsey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude and a calm, patient nature.
  • Good work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Kind and caring towards children of all needs and abilities.
  • Valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
