Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support a Secondary Special Educational Needs School in Chertsey. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and a calm and patient nature.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide one-to-one support to students as needed
  • Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with SEN students (ideal but not essential)
  • Valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Ability to work flexibly and use own initiative
  • Kind and caring towards children of all needs and abilities
