About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategy and culture change initiatives. As the Head of Equity and Culture, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive EDI strategy that promotes a culture of inclusivity, respect, and equity across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our EDI strategy, including the creation of policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and teams to embed EDI principles and practices throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement culture change initiatives to promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and equity.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on EDI-related matters, including training and coaching.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our EDI strategy and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading EDI strategy and culture change initiatives in a large organization.
  • Strong knowledge of equality legislation and frameworks, including the Equality Act 2010 and the NHS Equality and Diversity Framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and teams to embed EDI principles and practices throughout the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of our EDI strategy and make recommendations for improvement.
