Position Title: Reach Truck Driver

Location: Warehouse Operations

Shift Schedule: Rotational Shifts

  • Week 1: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Week 2: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Compensation: £13.81 per hour

Contract Type: Ongoing with potential for permanent placement

Job Overview: We are looking for a dependable and skilled Reach Truck Driver to enhance our warehouse operations. This position requires significant physical effort, including heavy lifting and manual handling, making physical fitness and endurance crucial. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable, working on a rotational shift basis to meet operational needs.

Key Duties:

  • Reach Truck Operation: Efficiently operate reach trucks to maneuver, stack, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse.
  • Manual Handling: Perform heavy lifting and manual tasks, including loading and unloading goods.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow warehouse staff to ensure smooth and effective operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Must have prior experience as a Reach Truck Driver and possess a valid reach truck certification.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to regularly engage in heavy lifting and manual tasks.
  • Shift Availability: Must be willing to work a rotational shift schedule, including early mornings and late afternoons.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Work Ethic: Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
