The Role: Automation Team Leader
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide leadership and management to the automation team, ensuring the smooth operation of our automated equipment and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of automation technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize automation performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of your team members.
- Analyze data and identify areas for improvement in automation processes and systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all automated equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to automation activities and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an automation environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of automated material handling systems, including conveyors, sorters, and robotics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
