Automation Deployment Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Automation Deployment Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of automation projects across various departments. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end project management for warehouse automation initiatives, from concept to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, IT, engineering) and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of automation technologies.
- Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the project, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Level 6 qualification in engineering.
- Previous experience of managing multiple automation projects within a warehousing environment.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of automation tools and technologies and how they can be implemented.
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
