Our client operates as the UK division of a global marketing and retail services firm, renowned for executing premium projects for luxury brands.


Position Overview:
In line with their ambitious expansion plans, they are seeking a skilled Retail CAD Specialist with a background in the retail, events, or exhibitions industry to become a vital part of their innovative team.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Retail CAD Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Developing comprehensive, precise, and detailed production drawing packages and technical templates applicable throughout all project phases.
  • Engaging in both internal and external discussions to effectively showcase design concepts, from initial pitches to final development.
  • Offering creative and technical insights to assist the team and clients in making informed design choices.
  • Conducting site assessments, surveys, and supervising on-site construction as necessary.
  • Managing your workload proactively, taking a hands-on approach to all facets of the role.


Required Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid understanding of bespoke retail and/or event production.
  • Proven experience in generating detailed technical drawings for production and construction purposes.
  • Exceptional design capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Current knowledge of industry trends, technologies, materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or VectorWorks.


Compensation and Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from £40,000 to £45,000, depending on experience, with a minimum of three days in the office each week. Additional benefits include 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a company pension scheme, and discounts at various high street retailers.
