Resident Maintenance Engineer, Grantham

Competitive Salary and Excellent Benefits

We're seeking a skilled Resident Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Grantham. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on automated machinery, including cranes, conveyors, vertical lifts, monorail systems, and deep freeze high bays.
  • Working in a cold environment (-18 degrees) and ensuring quality of output at all times.
  • Undertaking scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
  • Prioritizing system faults and accurately recording all work undertaken.
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects and complying with Health & Safety legislation at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An apprentice-trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with automated machinery (training will be provided).
  • Ability to work at heights and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience of working with a CMMS system.
