Role Overview:

As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass the installation, commissioning, and upkeep of condition monitoring systems. You will collaborate closely with clients to diagnose and enhance equipment functionality, delivering expert guidance and support. The role offers a mix of fieldwork and remote responsibilities, allowing you to draft reports and perform analyses from home while primarily travelling across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission and maintain condition monitoring systems at various locations.
  • Work with clients to comprehend their requirements and offer customized solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges related to rotating equipment and high voltage systems.
  • Perform performance evaluations and generate comprehensive reports on system status.
  • Install and commission condition monitoring apparatus in the field.
  • Balance on-site work with remote tasks, including report generation and project organization.
  • Assist sales and project teams with technical knowledge and support.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Field Service Engineer or a similar position within the energy sector or related domains.
  • Familiarity with rotating equipment, condition monitoring systems, and high voltage technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on quality and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Readiness to travel frequently across the UK and Europe.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
