This is more than just a typical finance role—no two days are the same. You'll have the chance to broaden your skill set by getting involved in various areas of finance while working within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Posting daily cash receipts and managing banking transactions
- Accounts receivable reconciliation and liaising with the bank
- Credit control duties and preparing recharge invoices
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Handling accruals, prepayments, and posting journals to the general ledger
- Covering payroll processing in the absence of the primary payroll officer
- Engaging with both customers and suppliers to resolve finance-related queries
- Supporting budget preparation and monitoring internal controls
- AAT Level 3 qualified
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Previous experience in an accounts department, preferably in manufacturing
- Familiarity with financial systems; experience with Epicor is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- SAGE payroll experience is desirable but not essential
- Work within a reputable and forward-thinking company
