We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatre team at The London Clinic.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, with a mixed shift pattern of early and late shifts, including participation in the on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and high-quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
  • Undertake clinical ongoing responsibility for the designated area and provide managerial accountability in the absence of the Team Leader.
  • Supervise and train junior staff to ensure the provision of a high-quality and cost-effective service to patients and users.
  • Act in a manner that upholds and enhances the good standard and reputation of The London Clinic.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Post-registration qualification, such as Advanced Scrub Practitioner qualification, is desirable.
  • Expert Scrub nurse/practitioner with experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a varied patient case mix.
  • Multi-skilled experience across various specialities, including robotic surgery, general surgery, urology, ortho, and gynae.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in sensitive and challenging situations.
