Senior Scrub Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatre team at The London Clinic.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, with a mixed shift pattern of early and late shifts, including participation in the on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
- Undertake clinical ongoing responsibility for the designated area in which you are allocated.
- Provide managerial accountability in the absence of the Team Leader under the supervision of the Deputy Theatre Manager.
- Directly supervise and train junior staff to ensure a high-quality and cost-effective service to patients and users.
- Registered Nurse or Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Post-registration qualification, such as Advanced Scrub Practitioner qualification, is desirable.
- Expert Scrub nurse/practitioner with experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a varied patient case mix.
- Multi-skilled experience across various specialities, including robotic surgery, general surgery, urology, ortho & gynae.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in sensitive and challenging situations.
