Exciting Opportunity for a SEN Support Assistant

We are pleased to present a rewarding opportunity for a SEN Support Assistant within our esteemed educational institution.

This full-time position will be situated in a Mainstream Primary School that features a specialized SEN Provision.

We are in search of a dedicated individual who possesses either personal or professional experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with severe verbal or non-verbal Autism. The role involves assisting small groups of SEN children in a classroom environment.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in delivering 1:1 support to children
  • Familiarity with PECS and/or Phonics is advantageous
  • Ability to assist the teacher with daily responsibilities
  • Ideal for graduates looking to gain insight into the educational field or those with previous experience as a teaching assistant

We strongly encourage candidates with expertise in any area of SEN, especially (moderate to severe) Autism and behavior management, to consider this opportunity.


Key Responsibilities:
