Job Title: SEN Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join our team at a mixed SEN school in South East London. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Support students with daily living skills and personal care
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of SEN and its impact on students
