About the Role

The Software Development Team Lead is a key position in our London-based software delivery team. We're on a mission to make app building easy for everyone, regardless of their background, tech knowledge, or budget. Our team has already helped thousands of entrepreneurs, small businesses, and global brands achieve their software goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble project plans, assign tasks, identify resource needs, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring adherence to our delivery processes for consistent high-quality results.
  • Recognize and mitigate risks in the agreed delivery to the customer, managing and communicating concerns to minimize impact.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a hands-on software engineer.
  • Ability to participate in and lead requirements gathering, scrum, and status meetings.
  • Strong technical proficiency in mobile and web application development, specifically in JavaScript and frameworks like React and React Native.
  • Ability to develop project/product plans, manage individual deadlines, and goals.
  • Capacity to shift between the big picture and small details, knowing when to focus on each.
  • Ability to identify issues, generate solutions, and choose alternatives using basic root cause analysis.

Nice-to-Haves
