Join Our Team as a Care Assistant in York

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Assistant in York. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults with varying needs.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. You will also promote independence and a sense of well-being among service users.

Requirements
  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be a UK resident
  • Have 6 months prior UK-based experience in a professional healthcare setting
  • Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
  • Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
  • Have a genuine passion for working in the healthcare sector
