Geography Professor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Geography Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Geography to Key Stage 3/4 students and contributing to the development of our Geography department.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Geography to Key Stage 3/4 students, delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles.
• Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of our students and align with the school's academic goals.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop a cohesive approach to teaching Geography.
• Contribute to the development of our Geography department, including planning and delivering staff training and development programs.

Requirements

• QTS or PGCE in Geography or a related subject.
• Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts in an engaging and accessible way.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
