About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Product Owner who will be responsible for comprehensive accountability for the delivery of technology products across various business units. This role entails overseeing the change delivery process, ensuring that selected internal teams and partners effectively deliver results while acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills within established cost, time, and quality parameters. Additionally, this position will manage business product owners and other stakeholders to guarantee the successful delivery of new technical products and features.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in enterprise product delivery, with a strong understanding of best engineering practices in a commercial setting. Key qualifications include:
- Experience in delivering Integration (API, Event Streaming, File Transfer, and Messaging) and Infrastructure (Azure and UNIX) projects in a multi-supplier environment.
- Familiarity with IBM and Azure technologies.
- Demonstrable experience working in an agile environment, with the ability to implement and adhere to agile principles and methodologies.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as a Service, Containerization, and their application to Integration patterns.
- Ability to operate within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters.
- Strong credibility and gravitas to engage with a demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects and leading both onshore and offshore teams.
- Experience in stakeholder management and end-to-end project lifecycle.
- Self-starter with the capability to stand by convictions in decision-making.
- Appreciation of how architecture, policies, and governance apply to project delivery.
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to influence in a complex environment.
- Experience in empowering, enabling, supporting, and motivating product teams.
- Experience transitioning from Waterfall to Agile delivery methodologies.
