About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the finances, providing legal cashier services, and performing general bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts receivable and payable, processing of client and office payments and receipts on Bankline and Leap (case management software)
  • Bank reconciliations, bookkeeping rapid pay conciliations, purchase and nominal ledger invoices and payments
  • Raising invoices for payments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be flexible and adaptable to a legal environment, with the ability to work at a fast pace. Strong experience of accounting software such as Xero and IT skills Microsoft and Excel are desirable for this role.

Having experience in a legal environment, such as understanding SRA account rules, is preferred but not essential, provided you can demonstrate the necessary experience required.

What We Offer

In return, you will be offered a salary of £30,000-£40,000, dependent on experience. You will be able to work from home on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week at home and 3 days in the office. You will be part of a growing firm with an excellent culture to further your career growth.
